Welcome to Hayling Island Piecemakers, a patchwork and quilting group based on Hayling Island (Hampshire) founded in 2001.

The group generally meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the United Reformed Church (URC) large hall, Hollow Lane at 7.30pm. We have many guest speakers to inspire us and a range of exciting workshops throughout the year to enjoy. We organise various trips to the major quilt shows and to fabric warehouses as well as having visiting shops to our meetings – see our Programme for the full list of our meetings, events and workshops.

Our group supports a number of charities and organisations with beautiful quilts made by our members. (see Charity Quilts).

Hayling Island Piecemakers is a friendly group and we welcome new members.  Members pay an annual subscription which covers the cost of meetings. Visitors are always welcome who would be asked to pay a small fee for the evening.  We also welcome members who may be new to patchwork, quilting and other creative sewing. Come along and be inspired – see Contact Us page.

We look forward to welcoming you when you come along to your first meeting.
